ABOUT
Launched at
the Traffex 2005 show, the PowerFlare® electronic
LED safety light was invented by a police officer in the USA.
Tough and rugged,
the units have been designed to withstand robust use and have been tested
under 65 tonne vehicles as well as being waterproof to 300’.
On the highways in
Britain, the biggest problem for police officers or emergency repair crews
on arrival at an incident or site is that of personal safety. As soon
as they exit their vehicles, they are instantly put at risk whilst placing
cones designed to protect both themselves and the travelling public.
With PowerFlare®,
they are immediately able to quickly deploy the hockey puck sized units
out of their vehicle windows, immediately decreasing their vulnerability
and thus increasing their safety on the ever increasing dangerous roads
that are to be found in Britain.
Using PowerFlare®
units increase and enhance the awareness of a safe working zone.
PowerFlare®
units feature the latest in LED light technology using intelligent electronic
circuitry and unparalleled physical durability. The smart charger ensures
that the units are always ready to go and reduces the risks to people.
Superior Visibility
and Safety – Super-bright, rechargeable beacon light can
be seen for miles and runs for up to 48 hours on a single charge!
Durable and
Reliable – Can withstand demanding road conditions. No
alkaline batteries or chemicals to decompose. Safe to use in gasoline
and many HAZMAT situations (intrinsically safe). No harm to the environment.
